THE GREAT BOOTHBAY REGION ROAD RALLY
We hope you are here because you would like to go on a little adventure! The Congregational Church of BBH is very excited to offer our community a day or two of fun exploring the outdoors. Any day between June 29 and July 31 at any time you are ready to start, load up the kids or your besties and head to the church at 125 Townsend Avenue. This will be the last address you get! The rally directions do not include addresses, but do include GPS Coordinates.
Rally packets will be available for pick-up at the church in a waterproof container in the rear parking lot near the Main/Office Entrance. Please take an envelope, enter your registration information on the sign-up sheet (you will want to decide on a team name, be creative), and replace the cover tightly on the container. This will be your starting point to begin The Great Boothbay Region Road Rally! Have Fun!

Important Rally details:
The rally course consists of 18 stops over a wide area of the region. You will be driving most of the time but there are a couple of short walks, and part of the course where you will park and walk between stops. We estimate that completing the course will take approximately four hours. Remember this is NOT a race.
While the rally is designed to be completed in one drive, we recognize that some people may want to break the course into parts, so we have indicated in your directions the most logical stops for a two day or a three-day run. So, if you start to get tired or a sudden rainstorm pops up, just finish the leg you are on.
Feel free to pack a picnic or snacks. We have indicated in your route directions which stops have food you can purchase. That said, we did not want there to be any cost to you, so feel free to pack anything you think will make the outing more fun. We do suggest you bring the following:
Good walking shoes
Masks (there will be places you interact with others so please be respectful and make sure everybody has a mask and that they put them on when you get out of the car at a spot where there are other people)
Lots of water
Cell phone with compass app downloaded and charged to take lots of pictures
If you have an iPhone, you can download a compass app if it’s not already preinstalled. Go to the App Store. In the search bar type in “Compass.” It should be the second listing—a black compass icon with 273° reading. Click download.
If you have an Android phone, Go to play.google.com. Search for “Compass Free”. The first app that comes up is Just a Compass with red arrow pointing NE icon. Click Install.
Binoculars (if you have them)
A keen eye
Your sense of adventure
Most important, we want you to have a fun, safe adventure. So get out there and explore this amazing region!
