The Mission of the Church shall be to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, to establish a fellowship based on the love of God and humanity, and to further the Realm of God.
Sunday School is held all year long, every Sunday at 10 AM. September - June children follow the Spark Curriculum, a Bible-based curriculum for age 2 to grade 6. Families may access the curriculum from home. Each summer there is a week-long Vacation Bible School. Childcare is also available in the nursery.
Junior & Senior Youth Ministries
Junior Youth Group is for grades 6-8 and Senior Youth Group is for grades 9-12. Groups meet twice a month. Everyone is welcome to join, you do not have to be a member of the church. Meetings will be announced.
Adult education sessions will continue in the church library starting on Sunday, January 12. The classes will use the Great Courses curriculum "Practicing Mindfulness: An Introduction to Meditation." It is taught by Professor Mark Muesse, Ph.D., Rhodes College.
The course is divided into 24 lectures which will take us into June. Each session starts with a lecture on CD that lasts about 30 minutes. The rest of the time is spent discussing what we just saw. Everything is very informal and each lecture stands alone, so you can come to individual or multiple sessions as you are able. We meet at 8:25 AM before church so choir members can attend the lectures before choir rehearsal. Please join us.
